Participating Employers

The Co-op Program works with many different types of engineering firms. We have employers that manufacture products ranging from robots to medical devices from fluidic couplers to semiconductors. We have employers that work primarily as consulting firms and employers that design the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for hospitals. Our Co-op students design, manufacture, test, and assess products and systems in a vast range of engineering fields.

Typically more than 40 different companies are yearly participants with 20-30 companies attending an interview week in any given semester.  Most of the participating employers are located in the Twin Cities area; however, we do have companies that are located in North Dakota, Wisconsin, and other locations across the United States.
